Jam TheBrain is a Canadian-Gabonese afro RnB singer. His artist name is inspired from his youth when his father would refer to him as Cerveau (in English : Brain). According to his older siblings, he started casually singing at the age of 6 , though he eventually realized that music was his true passion when his father passed away in 2008. The young boy was 16! This moment of transition led into music becoming part of his everyday life.
In 2012, he made his first public appearance as a candidate in the Gabon Talent Show Prime 6 contest and made it all the way to the semi-finals. In 2017, Jam TheBrain was selected to participate in The Voice Afrique Francophone season 2 and reached the knock- out with Charlotte Dipanda and Singuila as his coaches.
In 2018, after The Voice show, he initiated a collaboration with General Music, an independent producer in Libreville, Gabon where he recorded Premiers pas. After recording the project, Jam TheBrain traveled to Quebec, Canada to continue his MBA in accounting at Laval University while putting a pause to his music.
After successfully graduating in 2020, Jam TheBrain returned to music as an independent artist with the single Si mal in April 2021, Akewa (cover song) in April 2022 and Don’t care (his latest single in June 2022).
Jam TheBrain brings something new to the afrobeat/afro-rnb music. Whether in French, English or his Gabonese dialect, he sings with a rhythm that makes his creations unique. Jam TheBrain as for ambition of making his music international and started his journey of collaborating with international artists to do so.
